Product development programme

One data foundation.
A connected workflow.

TDAC GeoPlatform is being developed to connect geotechnical project data, field records, laboratory operations, interpretation, preliminary analysis and reporting.

Explore the intended workflow

From the first record
to the issued report.

Select a stage to see how the proposed platform connects the work. This is a workflow explanation, not a live software demonstration.

Configure the project

The intended workflow begins with project metadata, a scoped project library, user permissions and selected IS/BIS or ISO method families. Only relevant tests, analysis tools and report templates are enabled.

Designed around the team

Defined roles.
Connected responsibilities.

The intended model gives each person the tools and authority appropriate to their work.

Data manager

Project setup, scope configuration, data integrity and document coordination.

Field engineer

Field observations, borehole records, sampling and investigation data.

Lab engineer

Sample receipt, test inputs, calculations and submission of results.

Geotechnical engineer

Technical data approval, interpretation, analysis and report preparation.

Geotechnical manager

Portfolio oversight, deliverable review and final report authorisation.

An engineering-led product

Preserve the evidence.
Make the reasoning clear.

Factual data and interpretation

Keep original observations distinct from interpreted layers, correlations and adopted parameters. Preserve the relationship between them.

Project-specific methods

The current MVP specification allows IS/BIS and ISO families to be selected by project, with methods and versions recorded for each calculation.

Controlled preliminary analysis

The MVP scope includes preliminary shallow bearing pressure and settlement with engineer control. Advanced analysis remains a separate module or later integration scope.

Data exchange and reporting

The wider programme includes AGS-aligned data organisation and exchange. Report generation preserves reviewed inputs and saved calculation results.

Existing TDAC tool programme

Developed specialist tools

  • Geotechnical data-management tools
  • Geotechnical design modules
  • CPT interpretation
  • Pile drivability and spudcan assessment modules

Shared-platform integration and deployment are defined per implementation.

Specified / in development

The integrated GeoPlatform

  • Role-based field, laboratory and report workflows
  • Preliminary shallow foundation analysis
  • Separate factual and interpretative reporting
  • Later offline capture, advanced methods and AI assistance

The November 2026 architecture is a development baseline, not a claim of a completed production release.
